Melanotus horizontalis (Bull.) P.D. Orton, Notes R. bot. Gdn Edinb. 41(3): 595 (1984)

piccolissimi funghi nati su di un vecchio bancale intriso d'acqua che mio figlio stamane stava sistemando, lui li ha notati.

Sono molto piccoli e non superano il 1/2 cm di diametro di pileo, cappello un pò feltrato, sembra un 1/2 tondo che nasconde perfettamente il piccolo gambo che mostra all'attaccatura delle lamelle un residuo
di cortina insieme ad uno spessore più grande (gambo attenuato).
